Library Silent Auction Happens Aug. 7 through Aug. 12:  
Our preparations for the 35th (we think) annual auction are already underway. 
If you are wondering what to do with those wooden snowshoes in the barn, your adult children’s toys, the framed lighthouse painting your Aunt Mary gave you, and other attic treasures that are taking up space, consider donating them to the Cary Memorial Library summer auction. If you are a knitter, quilter, artist or crafter and have a piece for us, we'd love it. Have a kayak you never use? Consider us--we'll find a new home for it and benefit the library at the same time. 
Donations will be accepted until August 1.Plan to join us for the Opening Reception Thursday Aug. 7, 5-7pm at the Williams House, and enjoy the display through Aug. 12.
